Liliana Marcela's story

Liliana Marcella is a 34 year old woman and a micro-entrepreneur. She lives in the city of Barranquilla, where she has a business selling oils and lubricants for vehicles.
Liliana started this business about 2 years ago, and it has enabled her to raise her family and offer them a better quality of life. She has also gained recognition for being responsible and very committed to her work.
She offers her products daily to her neighbors and other people from the area and sells for cash.
Due to COVID-19 and the need to stay safe and healthy, she suspended her work and her economic situation became unhealthy.
She is currently starting her first Kiva loan with Foundation Santo Domingo to grow her working capital and buy oils, refrigerants, brake fluid, and other items in order to increase her sales and grow her profits.
