A loan helped a member to purchase manure and organic fertilizer.

Guadalupitas Group's story

Eusebia, 44, is an enterprising woman, who opened her own store one year ago. The members of the communal bank elected her as their president because she is very friendly. In the photo, she is at the far left wearing a fringed scarf. Arminda and Victoria are also in the photo with their children.

All the members of the Guadalupitas communal bank are farmers who have been engaged in agriculture for many years. They all cultivate mainly potatoes, but many cultivate other vegetables. Everyone will use the funds to invest in their crops, and they wish to improve their quality of life by increasing their income.

Eusebia had been engaged in sowing and planting a variety of vegetables for thirty-three years.

In this group: Eusebia , Inocencia , Arminda , Victoria , Ramiro , Leonardo , Laura , Mirian , Rosmery
