A loan helped to buy a piglet and feed.

Haritiana's story

Haritiana is a 35-year-old woman. She is separated with four children in her care. She lives in the family house in a rural village. She is a farmer, working in agriculture and livestock production.

One year ago, she started raising pigs. She fattens the piglets and then sells them. She thinks that this activity is fairly profitable, so she has decided to invest more. She is striving to earn enough income to raise her standard of living.

She has joined Vahatra to take out small loans to use as capital. This loan is necessary to buy a piglet and feed to improve its diet. She plans to sell the livestock after six months.

Haritiana hopes for the support of the lenders. She aspires to build a house.
