Eugene's story

Eugene is a the successful entrepreneur who lives in Kirehe, near one of Rwanda's refugee camps. He owns a restaurant and it helps him to provide shelter and education to his wife and two kids.

Since he started working with AEC, he has improved his business and life as well. With previous loans, Eugene was able to open a wholesale grocery store in the camp where refugees are able to access different types of goods easily. He also buys maize and beans and resells them in the camp as another source of income.

This has grown his business to another level by gaining him a huge number of clients through his quality customer services, and also allowed him to develop lives of the women from the community by offering them jobs.

Unfortunately, Eugene's business has been operating slowly lately, due to the effects of the pandemic. He is requesting a loan to increase the working capital to invest in his businesses by introducing new quality products and innovating his restaurant. This will help him to satisfy the needs of his clients, increase his sales and profits, and also grow his businesses even more. Moreover, Eugene will be able to provide more job opportunities and provide more needed support to his family.
