María Olinda's story

María Olinda M., age 49, lives in the Ilopango municipality. She lives with her family, which is comprised of her husband and their two children. Her husband works for a private company.

María is a seamstress. She makes formal clothes, uniforms, and casual clothes. She is quite meticulous, and she does very good work. This allows her to have many loyal customers like her relatives, friends, and neighbors. One of her best qualities is being responsible.

María works by orders. She also makes clothes to sell in her house, which is where she makes the clothes.

María is requesting a loan to be able to buy fabric in different colors and patterns. She will also buy thread, needles, and everything that is needed to make clothes. María is sure that this way her business will be able to improve. Then she will get greater income, which will be beneficial for her household.
