A loan helped to buy used clothing merchandise to sell. She has already rented a place to make a good income for her family.

Xhoana's story

Xhoana is a young member of the vulnerable Roma population. During the week she earns 10 USD a day cleaning houses, while her husband works in a manual car wash. On weekends, they both go to the city market to sell used clothes. They are both working hard so they can provide shelter for their soon-to-be growing family. Xhoana had Kiva lenders' support last year and your help gave her the possibility to make extra income for her family.

Xhoana is now asking one more time for your support as she wants to start selling all week as she is satisfied with the income generated during the weekends. Xhoana thinks if she sells during the entire week she will make much more money than she is earning with her actual work. She has already rented a place in the city center but needs to buy merchandise to start this activity.

Xhoana thanks all Kiva lenders for the support given and wishes the best to all of you!
