Idalia Del Carmen's story

Idalia del Carmen R. D. D. is 44. She lives with her 3 children, ages 20, 17 and 11. The oldest works and is a great help to Idalia, helping them to have a better life. She has worked very hard for years to get her children ahead, since she is a single mother who has not had any sort of help. Idalia works selling fattened chickens which she raises in her home. She sells them in her stall in the Usulutan Municipal Market; this is the same municipality in which she and her children live. Through this work, she is able to get food and proviD. all the necessary care for her chickens to grow up healthy and fat, so that they are very attractive for her customers. Idalia is requesting a loan through which she will be able to purchase more small chickens, and concentrate to feed them. This way she will be able to have everything necessary to make her business prosper and continue to be profitable for her and her children.
