Marie Odette's story

Marie Odette is 55, married and has one child. They live in an apartment in a busy area where she has been an ambulant seller of dried fish for 20 years. She also raises pigs.

She wants to improve her life by taking loans from Vahatra and its health insurance program. Loans enable her to stock up regularly, improve her life and makes savings for the future. With this loan, she will buy 200kg of dried fish to add to her stock. She bought a pig from her last profits and expects to do this again.
