Jean Rolland is a 32 year old man. He is married and the couple has one dependent child. The family has a house made out of earth. He earns a living farming and raising animals like pigs. He has been investing in this business for five years. His wife sells a variety of vegetables. He joined Vahatra to take out loans. He previously acquired some furniture with his earnings. With this next loan he will increase the number of pigs he is raising. He would like to improve the family revenue and put more into savings. He is requesting the support of the lenders to buy two medium sized pigs, 400 kg of bran and 60 kg of feed to nourish them. He will resell his animals on the local market after a few months and then he will buy another. He plans to renovate his house in the future.
