A loan of $2,225 helped a member purchase of fruits and vegetables.

Mujeres Virtuosas Group's story

The Mujeres Virtuosas women committee was founded on April 9 2010 thanks to Myrian.

All group members are actively involved in weekly meetings, are very grateful Fundacion Paraguaya for their support, and wish to continue to work together as they have had good results so far.

One of the members is Myriam, a very active woman who works hard for her family. She sells fruits and vegetables from door to door. Her customers already know her and see her as their supplier of fruits and vegetables, so she has a good customer base. Every day she goes to market to buy the goods she later sells. She says that it's hard work but she will continue to work until she gets enough capital to open a market stall where to sell from.

She would like to take this opportunity to request a loan to buy fruits and vegetables (papaya, bananas, pineapples, oranges, onions, tomatoes, etc.).

In this group: Myrian, Ana Justina, Dora, María Elva, Felicita, Agripina, Margarita, Ricarda, Julia, Liz Patricia, María Antonia, Aurora, Blanca , Nancy, María Isabel, Lucila, Cinthia, Rossana
