A loan helped a member to buy notebooks, Bristol and lattes paper, and pens.

Yesu Ni Jibu Group's story

Gaudiane is a customer of the MFI Hekima and the leader of the Yesu Ni Jibu group. She is widowed, 55 years old, and the mother of 5 children who all attend school.

She sells stationery. She started her business in 2004 with start-up funds she received from her family. Later, she joined Hekima's loan program to support her business, which has gradually developed. She will use the new loan to buy notebooks, Bristol and lattes paper, and pens. Her business does not often face any challenges.

She would like to see her children continue with their education and to develop her business.

Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they are giving to owners of non-bankable businesses during this Covid-19 pandemic.

Note: due to social distancing measures, only the group leader is pictured.
