N Towor Group's story

J. S., who is holding the sign, is the leader of this group of five borrowers called N Towor. J. is 54 years old, married and has four children who range in age from 10 to 25 years old. He was only able to attend school through 11th grade due to lack of financial support.

For 15 years, he has been selling building materials such as shovels, zinc, paint, nails, etc. in West Point, downtown Monrovia, Liberia.

He plans to use his 30,000 Liberian Dollar portion of this 105,000 Liberian Dollar group loan to buy more building materials. J. describes himself as a kind man. His goal is to grow his business and continue to educate his children so that they can have a better future.
