A loan helped to buy two medium-sized pigs and additional feed.

Rivo's story

Rivo is a 41-year-old married man with three children. He lives in a semi-rural neighbourhood on the outskirts of town. The family owns a concrete house.

He has been raising pigs for over ten years. He is also a brickmaker. His wife works in a private company in town. He partners with Vahatra and takes out loans to grow his business.

He wants to increase the number of pigs he raises in order to earn more. He is asking for the support of the lenders to fund his project. He will use the loan money to buy two medium-sized pigs and additional feed. He will fatten the pigs before selling them to the local butcher shop. He will save his earnings. Later on, he is planning to buy a dairy cow to increase the family income.
