A loan helped to buy a solar-powered freezer system for her grocery store.

Mery's story

Mery is a 31-year-old entrepreneur who live in a community of Yoro, Honduras. She lives with her four children and her husband, who works raising livestock.

With much effort, Mery has worked in the grocery store business and clothing sales for the past six years, in addition to supporting her husband in the cultivation of coffee and livestock raising.

She lives in a community where they don't have access to electric power, so selling products that need refrigeration has been difficult due to the lack of this service. Therefore, she has decided to request the loan from Soluz Honduras for a solar-powered freezer system that will enable her to offer a greater variety of products to her customers and also generate more income through her business.
