A loan helped to buy two pigs for fattening.

Volatiana's story

Volatiana is 32, married with two daughters. She raises pigs and her husband is a plumber. They live in their own house in an isolated village.

She takes loans from Vahatra to help her pig raising business and wants to have enough income to improve the way of life for the family. The profits from her first loan were put back into the business and she was also able to buy a cow. The pigs are sold locally and she hopes to buy another cow from the profits.
