A loan helped a member to restock with drinks, sugar, Fanta, and foodstuffs and increase her working capital.

Tufaulu Group's story

Suzane is the leader of the 'groupe villageoise' Tufaulu'. She is a 45 years married woman with 8 children who were all schooled. Her husband is unemployed. She has been running a restaurant and food sales outlet for 5 years, using her own start-up funds. With the help of Hekima, it has grown well.

With this new loan, she will stock up on drinks, sugar, Fanta and other foodstuffs and increase her working capital. Her business runs well. She wants a good future for her children and to be able to expand her business.

She thanks Hekima and its partners for their support of non-bankable women, especially during the Covid crisis. Only she is seen in the picture, as they respect social distancing.
