A loan helped a member to buy 7 goats, which will bolster her initial capital.

Tuinuwe Group's story

Mrs Dada is a client of Hekima IMF and presides over the “banc villageois” named “Tuinuwe”. She is married, 43 years old, and the mother of 11 children who all attend school. Her partner is unemployed.

She sells goats and started her business four years ago with startup funding from her husband. Later on, she joined the Hekima program for supporting her business, during which she worked progressively.

With this new loan, she will buy 7 goats. This will bolster her initial capital. The challenge in her business has to do with the lack of customers.

She would like her children to continue with their schooling and also wants to buy a plot of land.

Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and their partners for the support given to non-bankable business owners in this context of global crisis related to the Covid-19. The picture displays only the group leader due to Covid-19 social-distancing measures.
