A loan helped a member to buy wood, nails and metal sheets to improve her home.

Los Palacios Group's story

Susana Yamileth is 26 years old. She lives with her parents and her three-year-old daughter who depends financially on her since she is a single mother.

Susana has been working for two years as an informal employee in a restaurant in her area performing different functions. It is a job that she performs very well and allows her to generate an income for economic responsibilities, but she wants to improve her home to avoid damage during the winter season.

So she applies for a loan to buy wood, nails and metal sheets. With this investment she hopes to improve her home and have a better quality of life for herself and her family.

Susana, together with Iris and Melvin, form the solidarity group Los Palacios. They are responsible and enterprising people who seek the same goal of raising their families.
