Los Lopez Group's story

Félix Elena V. F., Ana María López B., and Terencio Margarito Martínez Hernández make up the community bank Los López. At 57, Elena, their coordinator, is the oldest of the group. She sells fruit and vegetables in the east market in Managua. She sells all her merchandise on a cash basis, and the instinct acquired in her 40 years of experience is what guides her to know what fruit to purchase to obtain the greatest profits.

For 6 years, Ana has made embroidery and sold it in the municipal market in the city of Masaya, which is also the business place of Tercenio, who is, in his own words, a craftsman of footwear.

These people want the best for their families, and to see their sons and daughters excel is their greatest dream.

In this group: Felix Elena, Ana Maria, Terencio Margarita
