A loan helped to buy two calves to fatten and resell.

Patrice's story

Patrice is 41 years old, married and has three children. He lives in a rural village a dozen kilometres from the city. He works in agriculture and animal farming. His profits help him to meet the family's needs in food, school fees, clothes and other necessities.

Patrice decided to take loans to gain capital and extend his farming. He partnered with Vahatra who provided him with two consecutive loans.

Recently, he got into pig farming. The profits allowed him to buy a calf. He wants to use the next loan to buy two calves to grow his herd. He is going to fatten the animals and sell them when the time is right.

Patrice is hoping for the lenders' support. His goal is to progressively grow his livestock herd to make better profits and improve the family's financial situation.
