Milagro Del Carmen's story

Milagro is 41 years old and resides in the town of Mercedes Umaña in the Department of Usulután. She lives with her husband and two children, ages 18 and 22, who are still financially dependent on her. Milagro owns a sewing workshop where she makes clothing.

This business started as a result of learned the traD. from her mother. Milagro operates her business Monday to Sunday from her home. She currently makes school uniforms and is requesting a loan to invest in the purchase of fabrics in different colors, thread, and other materials needed to fulfill her orders. This loan will enable her to contribute to the family expenses by continuing her business, thereby generating income.

Milagro says her aspirations are to support her children with their studies and use her business earnings to buy another sewing machine.
