A loan helped to buy articles of clothing wholesale.

Lina Maria's story

Lina Maria is a small business owner aged 36 who lives in the Municipality of Soledad with her family. She has been in business for 3 years selling articles of clothing for women, men and children. She opened the business when she was unemployed and saw the need to earn money for her household. With her experience selling clothing she decided to set up a business of her own and acquired stocks of clothing for women, mean and children. She distributes to her acquaintances, family members and people in the neighbourhood. This activity is her only source of income and allows her to contribute to the upkeep of her home. However as a result of the global Covid-19 pandemic her business deteriorated as a result of health and safety issues, her income reduced dramatically. This is why she is applying for her first Kiva loan with "la Fundación Santo Domingo" with the objective of buying articles of clothing wholesale. Please support her application for a business loan.
