A loan helped to carry out maintenance on computers and printers, buy ink, paper, accessories and stationery goods in general.

Tomas De Jesus's story

Tomas de Jesus, 41, is a small business owner who lives in the municipality of Soledad with his wife. His main business is providing internet services, digital photocopies and document printing, as well as sales of miscellaneous products, school and university stationery and general office materials. He also sells cell phone charges, protective cases, tempered glass, etc.

He has been renting a space for 14 years and has computers, printers, laminating machines, air conditioning, display cases, furniture and chairs. But because of the Covid-19 pandemic his work declined due to bio safety issues and his income decreased drastically.

He is currently applying for his first CrediKiva loan through the Mario Santo Domingo Foundation with the goal of investing in maintenance of computers and printers, buying ink, stationery goods, and accessories and articles for cell phones in general.
