A loan helped to buy Chiropodist equipment, moisturizers and dermo protection products.

Lilibeth's story

Lilibeth is a 29 year old small business owner who lives in the city of Cartagena. She lives with her husband. She has a Chiropody and Spa business that has been operating for about 3 years. She started the business with her husband who is also a Chiropodist. This business consists of the elimination of callouses and alterations to toe nails with the goal of avoiding and preventing potential problems caused by inadequate footwear. They both studied this profession. They worked for some years in consulting rooms and then after some time they organized themselves and acquired the tools to undertake the activity. Currently the business runs from a rented shop where they provide their services. This is her only source of income and allows her to enjoy a decent life. Her customers include her friends, individual recommendations, family members and others. They all contribute to the growth of the business. However, as a result of the global Covid-19 pandemic their work has deteriorated due to health and safety constraints and their income reduced dramatically. Currently she is applying for her first Kiva loan with “la Fundación Mario Santo Domingo” with the goal of buying Chiropodist equipment, moisturizers and dermo protection products. Please support her application for a business loan.
