A loan helped a member to stock up on women's clothing at wholesale, which will increase her starting capital.

Prosperite Group's story

Mrs. Sylvie is a client of IMF Hekima and is the head of the “PROSPERITE” group villageois. She is a married, 36-year-old mother of eight, all of whom go to school. Her husband is a shopkeeper. She sells clothing, which she started doing in 2011 with funds from her husband. Later, she incorporated the Hekima program to support her business, which she has been progressively growing. With this new loan, she is going to stock up on women's clothing at wholesale, which will increase her starting capital. Her business’ challenges are related to unpaid debts. She would like for her children to continue studying, and she would like to grow her business. In the end, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they’ve given to unmonetizable business owners in the context of this global crisis linked to COVID-19. The photo is of just the group leader because of COVID-19 in respect the social distancing measures.
