A loan helped to purchase pigs, balanced feed, potatoes, whey and veterinary supplies.

Delany Gabriela's story

Delany is a young woman, 20 years old. She lives with her parents in a rented house in the neighborhood of San José. She is a single mother.

She finished secondary school but the lack of experience added to the scarcity of jobs so that Delany has not managed to get a job. In light of this, she decided to work raising pigs. She has been doing this work for one year.

Delany has felt that it can be financially beneficial for her, so she asks for her first loan to boost her business. She will do it through the purchase of pigs, balanced feed, potatoes, whey and veterinary supplies. This will allow her to raise a larger number of pigs to get more earnings which will allow her to pay for her young daughter's basic necessities.
