A loan helped to buy the herd of sheep she was forced to sell months ago in order to resume the activity and provide for the family.

Fatmira's story

Fatmira is a female farmer who has been raising sheep since she was a child. She and her husband have been able to raise and educate their children with only the income they could make from this activity until some months ago, when they were forced to sell all their herd. This was because in their region, the sheep started to get ill unexpectedly.

Some months ago Fatmira had support from Kiva lenders and she managed to buy a cow from which she has been selling the dairy products. But she and her husband want to resume the sheep activity as they were satisfied with the incomes generated. She is asking one more time for your support as she wants to replace the sheep she had to sell in order to continue this activity done by them for so many years.

Fatmira is very thankful for this opportunity and wishes all the best to you and your families.
