A loan helped to invest in the purchase of soft drinks, juices, water, sweets, and other items.

Argenis Javier's story

Argenis Javier is a 32-year-old micro-entrepreneur and a resident of the city of Cartagena, where he lives with his family. Three years ago, he got involved in commercial activity by selling beverages, snacks, and other items.

His business was born when the ideal opportunity presented itself, when he was offered the opportunity of setting up a drinks business next to a soccer field. He realized the possibilities of capitalizing on such an opportunity and decided to set himself up to sell beverages to all comers. This commercial activity is his only source of income and it is what enables him to contribute to the livelihood of his home.

But owing to the covid-19 pandemic that occurred worldwide, his level of work declined because of biosafety concerns, and his income decreased drastically. For this reason, he requests his first Kiva loan with Fundación Santo Domingo with the purpose of investing in the purchase of soft drinks, juices, water, sweets, and other items. Do support him in this loan for his business.
