A loan helped to invest in the purchase of dyes, gloves, extensions, and a straightener.

Edelia Del Carmen's story

Edelia del Carmen, 45, is a microentrepreneur in the city of Cartagena, where she lives with her family. She has run a hair salon commercially for 3 years. She learnt it as a very young woman with the help of her aunt, who taught her everything she knew.

With great effort, she has managed to consolidate her business, which initially ran from a small room at her house. Today she is proud to have adapted her house for hairdressing. This commercial activity is her only source of income and it is what allows her to contribute to the support of his household.

But due to the COVID-19 pandemic that occurred worldwide, her work level deteriorated due to biosafety issues and her income decreased drastically.

So she seeks her first loan with the Santo Domingo Foundation in order to invest in the purchase of dyes, gloves, extensions and straightener. Support her with a business loan.
