Crisanto's story

Crisanto T. is from the village of Brgy. Tucal, Solano, Nueva Vizcaya. He is 44 years old. Crisanto is married and has 4 school-aged children. To make a living, Crisanto owns and operates a business venture in the services sector. While not the only means for generating revenue, the main source of income for the business comes primarily from providing tricycle transport services. Crisanto has been engaged in his business for over 10 years and earns approximately 7,500 PHP a month for these activities.

In 2009, Crisanto joined ASKI to gain access to financial services to help improve his living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Crisanto has successfully repaid a previous loan of 7,000 PHP from ASKI. This previous loan was used to to purchase tires and other accessories. Crisanto is requesting a new loan of 10,000 PHP, which will be used to repair the existing vehicle to provide better service. This loan will be the 3rd loan taken out by Crisanto from ASKI. He plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve the general living conditions of his family.
