A loan helped to buy more supplies such as bananas, yucca, yams and other products to stock his business.

Rusbel's story

Rusbel is a 42-year-old microentrepreneur who lives in the city of Cartagena de Indias. He’s had a business selling bananas and vegetables for the past 3 years. Rusbel started this business due to the lack of job opportunities and the desire of getting his family ahead. He works every day and offers his products to people of the area, neighbors, friends, and others.

Due to COVID-19 his profits and sales went down dramatically. He is currently requesting his first Kiva loan with the Santo Domingo Foundation to increase his working capital and buy more supplies such as bananas, yucca, yam, and others to stock his business. This will help him to increase his sales and profits. Give him your support!
