Solmilena's story

Solmilena, age 57, is an enterprising woman, who lives in the city of Cartagena de Indias. There she has a business selling beverages.

Solmilena began this business approximately five years ago, due to the lack of job opportunities, and the desire to improve her and her family's quality of life. She offers her products every day to her primary clients, who are neighbors, relatives, friends, and people from outside the sector.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, she had to suspend her sales due to regulations of the national government and questions of health. Now, thanks to the plan "Atlántico Responds", she is applying for her first Kiva loan through the Fundación Santo Domingo to be able to increase working capital and to buy supplies such as such as water, energy drinks, soft drinks, etc., to be able to increase sales and profits. Please support her loan for her business.
