Marianne is a 54-year-old mother of eight children, aged between 13 and 35. Her husband is a taxi driver and for the past thirty years, she has been selling fruits.

Marianne is the leader of the group named Dufatanye Cb Sub Grp B, which in English means “Courageous people.” Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses within and outside their community.

Marianne will use her loan to buy more passion fruits, bananas and watermelons so that she can sell within her community. She hopes the profits from her sales will enable her to grow her business and also manage to buy a piece of land.
