A loan helped to pay for ground filler to cover the mud around her house.

Mab's story

Mab is a 42-year-old, experienced farmer from the Angkor Borei District, Takeo Province. She lives with her spouse and children, who completely depend on her income and attend school. She grows rice and raises poultry at home to cover her family's needs. She has much knowledge about growing rice, including land preparation, the cultivation and growth of rice, fertilizer, diseases, and other agriculture tasks. Mab and her husband help each other earn household income so that they can provide food, medicines, education, and basic living needs.

Because of a shortage in her finances, Mab has applied for an 8,000,000 KHR loan to pay for ground filler to cover the mud around her house. With this support, she can pay for the ground fill and provide her family with a safe environment and fresh air, protect them from illness and create good living conditions.

In the future, Mab aims to renovate her old house and push her children to continue studying at university. She believes that, through her hard work and perseverance, she will be able to someday attain a better standard of living.
