A loan helped to invest in the purchase of beauty products like creams, shampoo, makeup, natural vitamins for the skin, etc.

Ana Lucia's story

Ana Lucia is a 53 year old microentrepreneur who lives in the city of Barranquilla. She lives with her husband and daughter and has had a job selling beauty products, natural hair products, and products for nails and skin for approximately 2 years. She started this project with her daughter when they saw the need to open a business that was needed but not common in the area, especially for women.

Since it began, this work was well received due to high quality products and excellent prices. Today this source of income has allowed her to contribute to the daily sustenance of her home. However, due to the Covid 19 pandemic that presented itself at a global level, her work has deteriorated due to health safety concerns. Her income has decreased drastically. For this reason she is requesting her first Kiva loan through Fundación Santo Domingo with the goal to invest in the purchase of beauty products like creams, shampoo, makeup, and natural vitamins for the skin, etc. Support her in her loan for her business.
