Marie is a 39-year-old mother of four children, aged 2 and 14 years. Her husband is a motorist. For the past three years, Marie has been selling foodstuffs.

Marie is the leader of the group named Abanyamurava CB, which in English means “Courageous People.” Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses within and outside their community.

Marie will use her loan to stock up her business with more sorghum and beans so she can sell within her community. She hopes the profits from her sales will enable her to grow her business.
