Abadatezuka Cb Group's story

Apophie is a 37-year-old mother of two children, who are aged two and six years old. Her husband is a civil servant, and for the past six years, she has owned a grocery store. She is the leader of the Abadatezuka Cb Group, which in English means “committed people." Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Apophie will use her loan to buy more sugar, biscuits, sodas and juices to sell in her community and to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to expand her business. She is thankful for your support.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all the members, but was able to get one representative for the group photo.
