Magnifique Tmk Group's story

Ms. Marcelline, 57, is a client of the microfinance institute Hekima, and manages the village group ' Magnifique TMK'. She is a widow, and a mother of 7 children — all of whom go to school.

Marcelline sells chickens. She began this business 2 years ago with the start up funds received from her children. Later, she was involved with the Hekima program to support her business, during which time it gradually grew.

With this new loan, Marcelline is going to stock up on wholesale chickens which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge in this business is diseases among the chickens.

Marcelline would like her children to continue their studies, and for her to grow her business. Finally, she wants to thank Hekima and their partners for their support towards non-bankable entrepreneurs in the context of the Covid-19 global crisis. The photo is only of the group leader due to social distancing measures in place because of Covid-19.
