Veli's story

Veli is a 41-year-old married woman with 8 children. She runs a business selling taro and bananas in her community to earn a living. She has 4 years of experience with this business. Veli works very hard to please her customers with her fresh taro and bananas.

She thought she will earn more income if she plants more bananas and taro, but in order to do this, Veli needs a loan. She will use it to buy taro roots, banana tubes (seedlings), chemicals, a bag back sprayer, and a chainsaw, to help her run the business.

She delivers her products to the flea market by using the bus. She comes from a family which no one else works to earn a living. Her business will help her family's needs. Her dream is that one day her family will have a great living standard.

She became a member of SPBD in 2016 to seek finance for her business. Veli realized that your support will be a big help for her and her family to develop through financing.
