Alice's story

Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 50-year-old Alice from Dwazark branch. She is married, with six children between the ages of 17 and 28 years; two are currently attending school. She started this business because she wants to take care of her family.

Alice runs a retail table business and sells soap, sugar, and other assorted items to her customers around the community. Her other source of income is from her husband. She has been in this business for the past five years. She says her business is going on well without any challenge.

She requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more soap, sugar, and other assorted items to increase her business. Alice says that the extra income from this loan will help her to take care of her family and to increase her business. In the future, she would like to expand to a large scale.

She says thanks to BRAC and Kiva for their support.
