Rufina's story

Rufina P. is from the town of Trinidad. She is married and has 5 adult-aged children. Rufina owns and operates a general store and sells a variety of products in the local community. Rufina has been engaged in her business for over 10 years.

Rufina joined CEVI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Rufina has successfully repaid a previous loan from CEVI. Rufina is requesting a new loan of 18000 PHP which will be used to purchase new items to expand product offering. This loan will be the sixth loan taken out by Rufina from CEVI. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to supplement the family's income.
