Narantsetseg's story

Narantsetseg Y. is a 51-year-old woman who lives with her husband and grand-daughter in Huvsgul province of western Mongolia. The family lives together in a ger, a traditional nomadic Mongolian tent. Her three children now have their own homes, while her husband helps with her clothes sales business, as well as running a private car repairing service in their town.

Narantsetseg operates a clothing business which she began in 1993. She has been able to create a strong customer base, having sustained her business successfully for more than 10 years. She is very careful about her clothes design and quality, in order to attract customers' attention. Because of her hard work and good business sense, Narantsetseg has been able to improve her family’s quality of life and hopes that she can eventually help her grand-daughter's education.

Narantsetseg is a hard working, creative woman who always hopes to improve her business in the future. She is requesting a 1,400,000 Mongolian Tugrik (MNT) loan in order to purchase a large amount of clothes and uniforms for the upcoming new academic year.
