A loan helped to buy a smartphone for her child's online education needs during Covid-19.

Marfuah's story

Marfuah and her husband sell cables and lights for a living. Marfuah is 37years old. She has two sons and a daughter. One of her child is still in school. Because of the Covid-19 pandemic the school had to implement online classes. The new system has made it difficult for their child to access the course materials and send assignments to the teacher. Marfuah has applied for a loan of 2,000,000 IDR from KBMI to buy a smartphone for her child's online education needs.

Her income is not sufficient to buy a smartphone, but she will be able to repay the loan received by using the profits generated from her business. Marfuah is a very hardworking mother who always strives for the best for her children and tries to create a happy life for them. She is very grateful for the opportunity and wishes to thank all the lenders. The girl in the picture is Marfuah's daughter.
