Shekinah Group's story

Madame Marceline is a client of Hekima and the group leader of the "Shekinah" group villageoise. She is 44 years old and married, as well as the mother of 7 children all of whom attend school. Her husband is a vendor.

Madame Marceline works as a vendor of hardware products. She began this business in 1989 with the financial backing of her husband. Later on she partnered with Hekima in order to support her business which is expanded progressively. With this new loan she plans to stock up on nails, cement, and concrete iron which will reinforce her initial capital. The main difficulty her business faces is a current lack of clientele.

Madam Marcelian's goal is to help her children pursue their education and to support her family.

Lastly she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the financial support they bring to non-bankable small business owners, particularly in the context of the global Covid-19 crisis.

In order to respect respect social distancing measures, only the group leader is photographed at this time.
