A loan helped to buy feed for her pigs.

Elisabeth's story

Elisabeth is a 55-year-old woman. She is married. The couple have 3 independent children. Elisabeth and her family own a home in a rural village where the couple were born. She is a teacher. She also farms pigs and produce to increase her revenue. The family owns arable land.

Elisabeth has been able to develop her farming activities thanks to the support of Vahatra which has awarded her some loans. She uses her profits to buy paddy fields or arable land. She also manages to save some money for a rainy day.

Right now, she has some pigs and is asking for the lenders' support so that she can buy some feed for them. She gives her livestock feed as well as biological food like maize, bran, and potatoes. She will resell her pigs at the local market after she's fattened them. She is planning to use her profits to buy another paddy field.
