Sineath's story

Sineath is a 28-year-old experienced farmer from the Angkor Borei District of Takeo Province. She lives with her spouse and children, who completely depend on her income and attend school. She is engaged in growing rice and raising some poultry at home to cover her family's needs. She has knowledge in growing rice such as land preparation, cultivation and growth of rice, about fertilizer, diseases on rice and other agriculture tasks.

Sineath and her husband help each other earn household income so that they can provide food, medicines, education, and basic living needs.

Currently, her house needs repair, and she has requested a loan in the amount of KHR 6,000,000 to repair her old house. With this support, she can purchase construction supplies such as brick, cement, and pay for labor costs. The advantage of a new roof is to help protect when it rains, and is storm protection. Clean ceilings provide comfort for living and waterproofing.
