A loan helped to buy 65 sacks of shea nuts and to save in order to take care of her family.

Awa's story

Awa is the mother of four children of whom two go to school. For more than eleven years she has been a businesswoman buying and selling cereals in a neighborhood on the outskirts of town. She has paid back her fifth Kiva loan without difficulty and is asking for this new loan to buy 65 sacks of shea nuts to increase her inventory of merchandise. She will reinvest in her business and increase her savings in order to take care of her family.

She thanks YIKRI and its partners for the non-bankable support of entrepreneurs. She asks everyone to protect themselves against the Covid-19 virus.
