A loan helped a member to buy bags of beans, which will strengthen her initial capital.

Matendo Group's story

Mrs. Claudine is a client of Hekima MFI and president of the village group "MATENDO". She is married, 37 years old and mother of 4 children who are all in school. Her partner is a merchant.

She is a food seller and started this business 10 years ago with start-up funds received from her husband. Later she involved the Hekima program to support her business, during which it gradually evolved. With this new loan, she is going to buy bean bags, which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge of her business is the poor merchandise.

She would like her children to continue studying and she would like to buy a plot of land. Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for supporting non-monetizable business owners in this global crisis related to Covid-19. The photo only includes the leader of the group because of Covid-19 in respect of the social distancing measures.

In this group: Immacule, Claudine, Concilie, Emercianne, Honorine, Wema, Esther, Aimee, Annonciata, Faida, Germaine, Esperance, Tantine, Honette, Nelly, Anuarite, Lajoie, Mapendo, Aimee, Dorcas, Calvin, Tuli
