A loan helped to access quality farm inputs and services.

Amos's story

Amos is a 40-year-old father that lives in a rural town in Nigeria. Maize farming is a major means of livelihood in his community but due to the lack of access to quality seeds, it has become difficult for farmers to achieve high yields.

Amos is requesting a loan to buy high-quality seeds, fertilizers, and other essential inputs for his maize farming operations. Amos wants an increased yield so that he can earn more income. At the end of the season, Amos plans to use the profits he earns from his harvest to rent an improved house and pay his children's school fees.
