A loan helped a member to buy starch, cheese, eggs, shortening and other ingredients to make the cheesy buns she sells.

Kuña Guapa Group's story

There are 18 members in the Kuña Guapa group. They are in the second cycle of the committee of women program. They are also in the elimination of poverty program, in which they all seek to improve themselves and move forward.

Among them, Nelsi is worth mentioning. She works making and selling cheesy buns, a traditional food eaten at all times throughout the year. She is an enterprising person who starts her work very early every day, and later sells as a street vendor. Nelsi seeks this loan to buy ingredients to make her buns, such as starch, cheese, eggs, shortening and other ingredients.

Note that only one person appears in the photo although this is a group loan. A group photo wasn't possible due to the restrictions on social gathering caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
